six

Tessa put together her own completely snazzy outfit today. She looked like she belonged in the Big City. I can't resist putting two up here.

Day 4

I can't even post these in Order! I just remembered that I had taken a camera phone picture in a feeble attempt to keep this up. Sad. Kielle's basketball game. It's an action shot so its blurry.

Day 5

Technically this photo was taken on 1/7/10. I was reading Nathan Hale's blog and he said that anyone who sent him a photo of the new graphic novel that he illustrated during Launch Week would get a free portrait avatar created by him. I am hoping he will do a portrait of my daughter, Ada, as Rapunzel from "Rapunzel's Revenge," which is the prequel to "Calamity Jack."

Day 3

It was 9 o"clock at night and I realized that I hadn't taken my photo yet so I snapped a bunch of my daughter right before bed. Seriously, am I going to get any better?

Day 2

I already bombed out on the 2nd day! How pitiful is that? So I will use a photo my husband took of me (cheater, I know!) Aaron's sister is an Interior Designer and we've asked her to draw up some plans for us to do renovations on the house. On Jan 2nd they were up in the attic taking measurements and pictures. I popped up to give them the camera.

Day One

My sister-in-law Carrie has her birthday on New Year's Day. A perfect excuse to take photos. She requested a homemade ice cream cake and so I made her a 5 layer chocolate cake with Rocky Road ice cream layer topped with a devine Chocolate Ganache!

365 doesn't have to be consecutive does it?

So I accepted Clair's challenge to do the 365 project with her but I have been absolutely abyssmal in my follow-through. It will probably turn out like my December advent project (in which instead of 31 days I have posted I think a whopping 5!), but hey I might as well try. And non-conformist that I am I will still do 365 days of photos but if I miss a day or two here and there so be it--I should be able to finish this project by the end of the decade, but who's counting right? So I will number my photos according to the sequence in which they are taken--My photos will be lucky to appear on the blog once a week. But I will do my best cause I committed! Here goes nothing...
